Monday Evenings—British Red Cross Society - Contact Mrs Vera John on 01646 684762
Everyone will have heard of the British Red Cross but very few will have heard of the wonderful work it does in your community. Using volunteer members such as Mrs John they provide a Medical Loan Service, First Aid Cover for community events as well as First Aid Training Courses for anyone who wishes to learn. The loan service provides people in the community who require items such as Wheelchairs, Commodes and Frames for example after accidents or a spell in hospital, Free Of Charge.
