Pembroke Millponds Volunteering
Could you be a volunteer Warden?
We need to keep the public informed and to monitor and record the Millponds site. So with funding from Environment Wales we are establishing a Volunteer Warden programme.
Training will be run in April and May covering:
- Topography and geology of the site
- The variety of habitats
- The important birds and other priority species
- The effect that litter has on the environment
Volunteers will receive Pembroke 21C clothing and badges to identify them as Wardens.
If you care about the Millponds, walk them regularly and have the knowledge or interest required, please contact us.
