PEMBROKE AND MONKTON LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY

Brian Griffiths addressed the inaugural meeting of this new Group which met for first time on October 16th. It is hoped that the Group will meet monthly for a talk and social but also get involved in local history research, carrying on the work of the Pembroke Story Project which is now drawing to a close. Linda Asman then gave a presentation on the work of the Pembroke Story, demonstrating the workings of the website, which is a vehicle for publicizing the Project and recording research.
